Hospital Policies
At A W Animal Hospital, we strive to provide a safe, efficient, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. To ensure the highest level of care, we have established the following policies regarding appointments, patient arrivals, and payments. Please review them before your visit, and feel free to contact us with any questions.
Appointment Policy
We operate primarily by appointment to allow sufficient time for all scheduled visits and surgical procedures. However, we understand that emergencies happen, and we always prioritize urgent cases. This may occasionally lead to delays, but we make every effort to see each patient on time.
Drop-Off Appointments
For your convenience, we offer drop-off appointments. This allows you to bring your pet at a time that works best for you and leave them in our care for evaluation. We typically ask that pets be dropped off in the morning so our veterinarians can assess them between scheduled appointments. We will call you once the examination is complete with a diagnosis and discharge instructions.
Vaccination Requirements
For the safety of all pets in our care, we require that all vaccinations be updated before an appointment. If your pet needs vaccinations prior to their visit, please contact us to schedule them in advance.
Patient Arrival Policy
To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all pets and their owners, we ask that:
- Dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area and exam rooms.
- Cats must be secured in an appropriate carrier or on a leash when entering the clinic.
Even though we strive to make every pet feel comfortable, new surroundings, unfamiliar people, and other animals may cause stress. Proper restraint helps ensure a calm and safe visit for everyone.
Payment Policy
Full payment is required at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept the following payment methods:
- Visa
- MasterCard
- Discover
- American Express
- CareCredit
- Cash
- Personal Checks
payment options, please don’t hesitate to ask our front desk staff.
By following these policies, we can continue providing top-quality veterinary care in Taylor, MI, while ensuring a smooth experience for all clients and their pets.
