Is anesthesia safe for my pet?

Yes! Modern anesthetics and monitoring equipment have made veterinary surgery much safer. Before administering anesthesia, we conduct a thorough exam and recommend pre-anesthetic blood testing to minimize any risks.

Can my pet have additional procedures while under anesthesia?

Yes! While your pet is under anesthesia, it is the perfect time for additional treatments such as dental cleanings, ear cleaning, or microchip implantation. Let us know if you’d like to discuss these options before your pet’s procedure.

How long do you keep sutures after surgery?

If your pet’s procedure requires sutures, they are typically removed 14 days after surgery. We will schedule a follow-up visit to check the healing process.
